Railway ramp. Advices from producer

When somebody contact us regarding railway ramp we always glad for such clarification – RAILWAY ramp. It is very important for us not just to solve customer current problem with loading or unloading actions, but also ensure that railway ramp will work for years and our client will gain all profits from its usage.

What we think as important things:

Incline angle for wagons is much higher, therefore the forklift must waste more energy to climb on the railway ramp. If forklift can climb on this angle – that’s ok. If not, we recommend to increase ramp’s incline part, therefore we will make angle smaller.

In all trucks it is possible to enter from rear side, but inside wagons you can enter usually only from sides. It is possible to make ramp with supporting legs and side bridges, therefore there will be ability to place ramp across to railway wagon.

If forklift with cargo can turn 90 degrees inside wagon, so of course it is possible to settle ramp athwart to wagon.
There are also some differences in connections of ramp to wagon comparing with standard solution of connection ramp to truck.
