For loading ramps, it is advisable to choose the steel grating based on the location and weather conditions. Our company offers different types of graiting for any type of mobile ramp:
Standard steel graiting – the surface is coated with a layer of paint without prior zinc coating. Standard grating is less resistant to rainfall. If the mobile loading ramp is located outdoors, it is recommended to choose a zinc coated driveway surface.
Zinc coated graiting is covered with a layer of zinc, which protects it from chemical and physical effects. Zinc is applied by lowering the graiting into a bath of electrolyte. A mobile loading ramp with a zinc coated driveway is resistant to rainfall and can be used outdoors.
If loading and unloading operations are carried out at low temperatures, it is necessary to equip the ramp with an anti-slip steel grating. Due to the rifled teeth placed on the perimeter of the bearing strips it provides reliable traction of forklift wheels with the roadway. Ideal suited for loading ramps with a sloping platform.
The zinc-coated serrated graiting combines the features of the aforementioned coatings. It makes driving on the roadway more reliable and at the same time is as resistant as possible to all kinds of rainfall.
