Em 2018 fornecemos para nosso cliente em Bila Tserkva (região de Kiev, UA) outra rampa móvel estendida AUSBAU-PRO8 (B4000) – 2SL.
The feature of this model is that it can solve a fairly common problem when a small 20-feet container (6 meters) is placed in the middle of a long semi-trailer (12 or 13.6 meters). Container carriers prefer to have a universal long platform, on which it is possible to put a long (40 feet = 12 meters) and short (20 feet = 6 meters) containers. Therefore, end-customers regularly have problems with unloading small containers from a long platform.
In this case, access to the container becomes complicated, because it is located at a distance of up to 3.5 meters from the rear edge of the trailer. Accordingly connection lip of a standard ramp or dock leveler can’t be placed on it. The problem becomes more difficult when the container stands not on a flat platform, but on a special container trailer frame – the forklift can’t ride on it.
In order to solve such and other cases we designed a special mobile hydraulic ramp AUSBAU-PRO8(B4000)-2SL. Due to the presence of a long extension of the horizontal platform, which is 4000 mm, and the absence of the limiting support frame below, the ramp can drive over the truck platform and “reach” the container located in the center. The special frame structure of the horizontal platform rigidly holds the geometry of the whole ramp frame.
The supporting legs are one of the main ramp feature. They are regulated not only in height, but also in width – like “hugging” the semi-trailer platform during loading and unloading.
In our work we always start from the needs of our clients. Several years ago, designing this model, we put ourselves in the shoes of our consumers. We studied typical trailers, dimensions of containers, collected statistics from carriers specializing in the transportation of containers inside the country. The mobile loading ramp AUSBAU-PRO8 (B4000)-2SL is a result of this work. This model solves customer problems. For us it is a very important indicator of the work of the whole AUSBAU team.
