Required mobile dock ramp width

Usually, consumers do not pay much attention to the width of the dock access ramp or recall it at the last moment.

Due to more thoughtful and complex ramp design, AUSBAU mobile dock ramps are wider than that of other manufacturers, while the dimensions of the equipment stay unchanged. The standard width of AUSBAU mobile dock ramp is calculated to fit most types of warehouse equipment. Forklift trucks, stackers, pallet trucks and even cars can move along our ramps.
But there are such types of wheeled equipment or goods that require non-standard ramp width. For example, some old heavy forklift trucks, such as LION-5, are wider than the standard ramp platform. For such trucks, we can widen the ramp platform, while keeping the overall width transportable. Thus, it will be possible to transport the ramp by ordinary transport, without overpaying for special oversized cargo transport. The ramp’s width is a variable characteristic.
